The
Final Frontier 2008 Vendor Rules
These
rules are meant for vendors at The Final Frontier 2008. A lot of
them are common sense but there is always the chance that
someone somewhere may do something that, if we didn’t list it
here, would cause some irritation to you, your customers and the
staff of this event. By writing them down it really lessens the
chance that this is going to happen.
1)
The hours for the vendor room will be 5:00 p.m.
until 11:p.m. on Friday night, 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. and
5:30 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. on Saturday and 10:00 a.m. until 1:00
p.m. on Sunday.
2)
Table set-up will be available 2 hours before
vendor room opening time each day of the event.
3)
The vendor room will be kept locked except at
times listed above.
4)
The sale of projectile weapons (those using either
solid or liquid propellants) is strictly banned from The Final
Frontier.
5)
Crossbows, swords, daggers and other such weapons
may be sold but the buyer MUST be over 18 and MUST
present ID at the time of purchase.
6)
Any bladed weapons MUST be sold with
a sheath or sold in a box. If a vendor sells an unprotected
blade they will be asked to leave the confest
7)
Items which promote hate, prejudice or bigotry
(except where it comes to Star Trek species, including humans as
a whole) are not permitted. .
8)
Vendors who sell out of their hotel room must
register with The Final Frontier Staff. If we know about you we
will help publicize that you exist.
9)
Sales tax is the responsibility of the vendor.
